Italian eggless almond Biscotti By Sulekha Gupta

It's exotic and eggless.

Serves10-12

Cooking Time70 mins.

INGREDIENTS

  • 100gm roasted almonds
  • 300gm all purpose flour
  • 200gm condensed milk
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla essence
  • 40gm Butter
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder

PREPARATION

    In a bowl, add condensed milk and brown sugar mix them..
  2. 2

    Then add vinegar and vanilla essence and again mix them.
  3. 3

    Sieve baking powder and all purpose flour in other bowl.
  4. 4

    Add butter to it and mix them.
  5. 5

    Slowly add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and make a flexible dough.
  6. 6

    Then add roasted almonds to it and make the dough ready.
  7. 7

    Divide the dough into two equal parts.

    Make log of thickness of 1cm from both dough.
  9. 9

    Place them on the greased tray and bake at 180°C for 25mins.

    Bring the tray out and let it to cool for 10mins.
  11. 11

    Cut the log with the bread knife with the breadth of 1.5cm.
  12. 12

    Place them on the tray and again bake it at 150°C for 15mins.(flip them in half time).

    Your italian eggless almond Biscotti is ready.
