1/2 cup ghee
1 cup wheat floor
1/4 TSP green cardamom powder
1nos whole nutmeg
1/2 cup grated jaggery
5 to 6 almonds finally chaupad
How to make Gud papdi ( gujrati sweets ) Recipe?
- To make good papdi lets you start with roasting the white floor
- Put the pen to heat on a flame pure ghee in the pen
- We have taken 1/2 cup ghee save a bit of ghee let's the ghee heat
- He has a melted add one cup wheat floor to it
- Roas the flour till golden brown in colour
- Keed the flame low an medium
- Floor has a turnade golden brown
- Flour is a fragrant and the ghee is separating from the flour
- Flour is roasted and ready torn of the flame
- Stir the flour at regular interval because the pen heats up from the base
- If not stirred to flour will burn at the bottom
- We have to mix jaggery to the floor
- But but we will not mix jaggery to very hot flour lets it cool slightly
- Take 1/4 TSP cardamom powder or you can add 4 to 5 cardamom filted and ground cardamom
- Take one woole nutmeg an great it or take a pinch of nutmeg powder
- Here we have added grated nutmeg mix it
- Smoothen the plate to set the good papdi brush the plate with a little ghee
- Place the wok on the stand The floor has culed down a bit
- We have taken 1/2 cup grated jaggery put the jaggery into the flour and mix it
- Mix it well till the jaggery melts and mixes well with the flour
- Now we will set it put the mix in a plate
- Press it well and spread evenly spread finally chopad almonds over it
- You can keep the pieces big or small as decided cut it
- Take out the pieces
- Delicious good papdi is a ready
